Industrial Security Introduces Professional Development Programs

by Andrea Pierce, CPP

Manager, Quality and Compliance

As part of our Professional Development Programs, Industrial Security Service is sponsoring a series of free educational workshops for our clients. The seminars, which are held throughout the year in various convenient locations, feature a keynote speaker and provide information relevant to the issues faced in today’s workplace. The events also provide the opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues and develop contacts and leads.

The most recent session, conducted on October 4, 2006 at the Marriott RiverCenter in Covington, Ky., featured distinguished speaker Timothy A. Dimoff. The seminar addressed high-risk workplace issues that owners and manager must deal with on a regular basis. In addition, Mr. Dimoff spoke about the importance of proper documentation and how to gain back control of your corporate environment. His presentation was both entertaining and educational and participants walked away from the seminar with information that can be applied to their jobs and responsibilities.

Mr. Dimoff has established himself as the leading national consultant on high-risk workplace issues and is frequently sought after to serve as a keynote speaker and expert legal witness. He has authored six books, including How to Recognize Substance Abuse, The YOU in Business and Life Rage. Mr. Dimoff is also the President and CEO of SACS Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping corporations gain control of workplace crime and violence headquartered in Akron, Ohio

Industrial Security’s Professional Development Programs are offered on a regular basis across a five-state region. If you are interested in attending a similar seminar in your area, or would like a copy of the conference materials, outlines and notes from our October session, please reply to info@bestguards.com and reference Professional Development Programs.
