Safety & Security Recognition

Security Officer Dustin Knipper was formally recognized on May 4, 2010 at a brief ceremony for his contributions to the Safety and Security mission of the Lafarge-Silver Grove Kentucky Plant.

On two different occasions, Officer Knipper helped provide a safe workplace by alertly recognizing potentially hazardous situation, and for taking the appropriate actions to safely address, and therefore minimize, the potential for loss. His efforts represented the highest standards of security excellence as he combined his individual skills with his extensive training to yield a positive outcome for our client.

Officer Knipper joined Industrial Security Service, Inc. through our Cincinnati/ Northern KY Branch Office in April of 2007 and began his service at the Lafarge Plant location at that time. He has successfully completed all performance requirements throughout his tenure to achieve the highest level of Officer rating at this location.

Basic First Aid Training
Medical emergencies can happen at any time.

Medical Emergencies can happen anytime.

Over the next couple of months, the ISS management/ training team will be conducting the “Basic First Aid” training for all site managers and officers within the company.

The training objectives will be:
  • Recognize the benefits of obtaining first aid and CPR certification
  • Identify proper procedures for a variety of medical emergencies
  • Assist in administering first aid when a co-worker is injured
  • Do no further harm.

Industrial Security Service, Inc. understands the importance of effective training in order to meet and exceed the needs of its clients and officers, as well as to meet the continually rising demands of everyday work environments.

Site Supervisor of the Year Awards

Bardstown, Kentucky: John Richardson

John is the Industrial Security Site Supervisor at the AGC (Asahi Glass Company) Automotive Plant located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

John joined Industrial Security Service in August of 1991, and yes, has been the Site Supervisor at AGC Automotive for these past 19 years.

Matt Smith has been the Site Manager for the PPG Delaware Ohio facility since February 1999 when the site first began and has been running it strong ever since. He has one of the most devoted staff I have ever seen as well as a wonderful relationship with PPG Management and associates.
